Evacuating in times of Covid-19 (what to look out for)

During heavy rain or when a typhoon hits, guarding your life is paramount. 

When a disaster hits, please do not hesitate and prioritize evacuating to a safe place over concerns with regard to corona.

Inside the evacuation facility, you should take precautions as to reduce the risk of infection. 

Make it a habit to consider the following points:

1．Is your residence in an area that is in danger of being affected by the disaster? If not, do not needlessly evacuate. 

2．Please consider evacuating to family's or friend's houses, living in safe areas.  

3．Please make sure to bring face masks, sanitizer and a thermometer to the evacuation facility

5．Leavin the house during spells of heavy rain is dangerous. If you have to sleep inside of your car, please park in elevated locations, where the water cannot reach you.
