Other Notices

  1. Interval between vaccinations: Please calculate from the day after vaccination and leave an interval in between as advised: People inoculated with a live vaccine against MR, measles, rubella, chickenpox, and BCG should leave at least 27 days in between vaccinations.
  2. Children who have suffered from a serious illness that impairs immune function or requires treatment that suppresses immune function and were unable to receive vaccinations during that time, will be eligible for regular vaccinations for a specific disease starting from two years after the date the special circumstances have ceased (one year for elderly patients with pneumococcal infections). This excludes influenza and rotavirus infections. For more details regarding eligibility and the specifics of serious illnesses or treatments, please contact the Kobayashi City Child Division.
  3. Regarding vaccinations for girls/women: Among the people eligible to receive vaccinations against Japanese encephalitis and Human Papillomavirus Infection (cervical cancer prevention) girls/women above 13 who are pregnant or might be pregnant should not get vaccinated in principle. A vaccination should only be considered, in case the advantages are found to outweigh the risks.
  4. People who require treatment or suffer from a disability that interferes with your life as a result of having received a routine vaccination, you are eligible for redress based on the “Immunization Law”.
