Kobayashi is located in the western part of Miyazaki
Prefecture in southern Kyushu, Japan. It is connected to
the islands expressway network so it is easily accessible
from all parts of Kyushu. As can be seen from the map
to the right, Kobayashi is also set at the foot of the Kirishima
Mountains, with close access to Ebino plateau and Ikoma
plateau.
Kobayashi lies between two airports, Miyazaki Airport ( 1
hour by car ) and Kagoshima Airport ( 40 minutes by car ),
with both airports having international flights to Korea.
Buses are also available from both airports to Kobayashi
City.
